Supporting St. John's Today For A Stronger Tomorrow!
The St. John’s experience is possible because of the enduring support of its community. The reputation that the School has among peer schools and within the broader community is one of distinction. The oldest Episcopal school in Dallas, St. John’s is committed to providing a distinctive, well-rounded, and transformative education for each student, and our success is due to the efforts of our extraordinary teachers and their unabated support of our mission. We are grateful for the commitment you make through volunteerism and financial contributions. Your support is critical to our success – both today and for our future growth.
We are St. John's! How we make an impact together.
Because of the generous support of our community, St. John’s can fulfill the needs of the School each year. All donations are invested in purchasing resources for students, from the care of the people to the care of the physical campus. Every donation makes a sizable impact each day.
CAPITAL CAMPAIGN - Campaigns are essential in the enhancement and expansion of our physical campus as well as supporting other priorities of the School.
COMMUNITY PARTNERS - The St. John’s Community Partners program offers an opportunity to corporations, foundations, and other businesses to become involved in our School through the marketing opportunities we are able to offer throughout our campus.
ENDOWMENT - St. John’s Episcopal School has four endowments that we rely on our community to help us continue to grow. These endowments provide a steady source of income to ensure St. John’s has the financial stability and ability to fulfill its mission, both now and for years to come. Endowment funds are not spent in full each year, but rather the interest of the invested funds is partially spent and partially re-invested. Our endowments include the St. John’s Diversity Endowment Fund, Dorothy Patterson Memorial Scholarship Fund, St. John’s Student Library Endowment, and the Teacher Endowment Fund.
MATCHING GIFTS - Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees.
PLANNED GIVING - Planned Giving provides donors with the opportunity to make a larger gift than would otherwise be possible and to create a legacy at St. John’s. Planned gifts can be made through wills, insurance, or other financial instruments that meet a donor’s individual needs and circumstances.
RESTRICTED GIFTS - At any time, a donor may choose to give directly to a specific program or cause within St. John’s Episcopal School. Such programs include our (outdoor education, student formation, arts and athletics), academic programs, financial assistance, professional development, and technology.
ST. JOHN’S AUCTION - Hosted by the Parents Association - This annual event is a long standing tradition at St. John’s that brings our community together each spring to raise important funds for our School.
ST. JOHN’S FUND - The largest annual fundraiser, the St. John’s Fund helps to bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of providing the St. John’s experience, which captures every student’s imagination and fosters an environment for well-rounded confident learners. The St. John’s Fund is the School’s highest fundraising priority, and 100% parent participation is always a goal!
TRIBUTE GIFTS - Tribute Gifts are given to St. John’s to honor or recognize friends, children, family members, or faculty or staff. These special gifts celebrate the relationship individuals have with St. John’s Episcopal School as they enhance the education experiences of our students. These gifts can be designated as well.
