Kidokinetics Fundamental Soccer clinic designed to introduce the child to the fun sport of soccer. Primary skill introduction includes ball handling, shooting, throwing in, passing and ball control.  The approach does not introduce strategy elements as the focus is on building confidence through control and coordination. The coaches introduce fun games to help reinforce the skills and teamwork. Physical skills include speed, agility, coordination, stamina, balance, and strengthening.

St. John’s now offers a great learn-to-ride camp for kids from K-4th grade! Beginning Biking is directed by Coach Stewart Ball, founder of Dallas Bicycling School. Your child will learn to ride skillfully and safely in the confines of St. John’s campus. Our instructors are experienced in making sure children overcome their fears and experience the thrill of riding a bike on their own. *Campers will need their own bikes and helmets for this camp. Bikes will be stored on the SJES Campus for the week for easy transport.

In this camp young chefs will make cupcakes with a fairy tale twist. Cinderella may have eaten pumpkin cupcakes, Snow White, apple cupcakes and the Little Mermaid, caramel sea-salt cupcakes of course! Get your baking hat on and join us as we explore beloved fairy tales through making unique flavored cupcakes. This camp can accommodate nut allergies.

Description:      
Learn to play the piano in a small, relaxed group setting with your friends. This two week course (June 13-17 and June 20-24 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.) will get you tickling the ivories in no time. Students will learn the basics of beginner piano and will be excited to perform for friends and family in an optional performance on June 24 at 11:30 a.m. Keyboards will be provided during the camp.

The St. John’s new indoor climbing camp is directed by Coach Stewart Ball, and will be hosted at Movement, The Hill, a newly opened climbing gym and fitness facility located at Walnut Hill and 75. We’re very excited to be using this beautiful new gym! Camp will feature instruction in basic bouldering from one of Movement’s expert instructors and we have added more agility, fitness, and coordination activities and games, to round out an exhilarating week of camp. Space is limited, so don’t miss out!

Paw Patrol to the Rescue! Choose your favorite character and spend the week creating a story for a Kitty Rescue. The First Tee Golf camp is designed to teach the basic golf skills through an innovative curriculum developed by The First Tee. The program was created in association with the PGA, LPGA, Champions Tour and Masters Association. The curriculum modifies the four basic shots of golf including putting, chipping, pitching and full swing. Equipment is specifically designed for young children with oversized club faces, color coded grips, and target oriented training tools and alignment markings. Each activity empowers young people to explore their abilities and develop life-enhancing values along the way. Perfect for the beginner golfer and young children wanting to explore the sport.

Your children will explore the lake, learn to box, fix healthy snacks, record a workout video, and much more!
