Camp: Music Under the Sea          
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Description: Dive into this fun filled musical experience! Students will enjoy learning and singing new songs, dancing and moving like crabs and sea horses, and will gain musical knowledge along the way! This class will cultivate camper's imaginations and develop a lifelong love of music!

Description: Every kiddo loves a fun party! Our STEAM Party Camp will introduce several different aspects of Tech and STEAM. Kids will learn basic block coding, digital design/ animation, content creation and much more. Techies will also have fun working with robots as they learn design thinking/ engineering skills using Snap Circuits, pennies, popsicle sticks and LEGOs.

Description: The First Tee Golf camp is designed to teach the basic golf skills through an innovative curriculum developed by The First Tee. The program was created in association with the PGA, LPGA, Champions Tour and Masters Association. The curriculum modifies the four basic shots of golf including putting, chipping, pitching and full swing. Equipment is specifically designed for young children with oversized club faces, color coded grips, and target oriented training tools and alignment markings. Each activity empowers young people to explore their abilities and develop life-enhancing values along the way. Perfect for the beginner golfer and young children wanting to explore the sport.

Description: Welcome to First Grade! Join St. John’s 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Crabtree, in a week of adventure where you will explore new subjects each day, including reading, writing, morning meeting, math explorations and games, science and more! This camp will help you meet and reconnect with friends, learn about first grade, and feel comfortable and confident starting your school year.


Camp: Stepping Up to Second Grade

Description: Join St. John’s 2nd grade teachers, Mrs. Fuqua and Mrs. Day, for fun-filled mornings of language arts and math activities that will get you ready for 2nd grade. Learn the ins and outs of all things 2nd grade, and have fun with your friends and teachers while doing it! You will walk into the first day of second grade feeling confident and prepared for anything that comes your way!

Description: The Chamberlain Studios of Self Defense Karate Ninja Camp is an action-packed martial arts class. Our expert instructors will lead students through a fun martial arts and character development program including striking and kicking drills, self-defense techniques utilizing “shadow partners,” martial arts forms (Kata) and history, and crafts that focus on martial arts and Asian culture. If you do not already have a Chamberlain Studios issued uniform, please purchase one below under options.


Camp: My First Lemonade Stand

Description: Let's sell lemonade! Young campers become "lemonade entrepreneurs" and learn how to make yummy lemonade and earn money selling it! From designing marketing flyers to estimating profits to experimenting with recipes, campers have fun all week while developing business savvy. Campers will launch their lemonade stand on Friday, July 28th at 11:00 a.m. to raise money for a charity they select!

Description: Practice shooting, passing, dribbling, and rebounding in a fun, positive environment. This camp will help develop your game as you learn proper offensive and defensive techniques. Build team chemistry and use persona skills to be a more effective team member. All camp sessions will include team competitions to familiarize play with real game situations.


Camp: Clay and Jewelry Making Camp

Description: Join St. John's teacher and artist, Chancey Canon and make your own one-of-a-kind jewelry in this crafty camp. Campers will make unique beads from polymer clay, to create unique jewelry. They will also work with other materials including glass seed beads, embroidery floss, and leather to make necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. The possibilities are endless when you bring your creativity to this class!

Description: Calling all future coders, programmers, & designers! Learn the basics of coding languages like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS through a series of web projects and design challenges each day and be on your way to becoming the next tech star! Whether you want to be a Silicon Valley CEO or the high school student who just made $1 million dollars for programming in her bedroom, this course has the essentials you need to begin your journey. Projects will be available on a Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Returning students can create more advanced projects that build on previous years.

Description: Grab your passport and join us as we taste our way through western Europe. CookLearnGrow dishes up Tasty Travels at Summer Cooking Camp.  Join us this summer as we stir, whisk and roll our way through Great Britain, France, Italy and Spain! Campers will experience global cuisines and culture while creating fun memories! A welcome packet is emailed after registration. Young chefs leave with boosted self-confidence, creative inspiration and life-long skills. This camp accommodates nut allergies only. Minimum of 10.

Description: Take a geographical gourmet journey across America as we discover some of the country’s best loved regional dishes. From Florida’s famous key lime pie to Alaska’s salmon cheese balls, students will experience a variety of dishes and cooking techniques and will even learn some geography along the way! This camp accommodates nut allergies only. Minimum of 10.

Camp: Aspiring Fashionistas

Description:  In this stylish program for boys and girls, students gain knowledge of the fashion industry and develop skills in fashion design, fashion marketing, fashion journalism and branding. Students develop sketching skills, explore popular brands, analyze industry trends (e.g., athleisure), design various articles of clothing, define their own brand, explore careers in fashion and more!


Camp: Painting with Watercolors             
Time: 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Description:  Join St. John’s teacher and artist, Mrs. Canon, and learn how to paint flowers, plants, animals, and landscapes with this fun and unique medium. Campers will learn how to layer colors and create texture and dimension with watercolor. After exploring the watercolors of John James Audubon and others, students will take inspiration from nature surrounding them to paint.

Description:  With the world’s increased reliance on digital data, cyber security is more important than ever! In this class you are all that stands between a group of international hackers launching cyber attacks and world peace. Through a series of challenges, students will learn to apply tools used by professional digital forensics teams to crack codes and use encryption. Working in teams you will collect clues, recover lost data, and explore the tools of the trade to become the next great cyber spy! 


Camp: Middle School Volleyball Camp             
Time: 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Description: Open to players of all skill levels, the St. John's Volleyball Camp provides expert instruction by St. John’s teacher and coach, Mr. Herrin, who has more than decade of experience instructing girls and boys volleyball. Whether this is your first time to play volleyball or you are a seasoned veteran of club/sports teams, you will improve your skills and make lasting friendships that from the positive and nurturing environment of team sports. All equipment is provided, but participants should wear proper footwear and knee pads. Those who are interested in playing for the IAA or TAPS volleyball teams are highly encouraged to attend.

Description: This camp is tailor-made with our lion cubs in mind. Each week camp will be structured around a different theme and the art of play! Our mornings will be full of experiential learning through arts and crafts, story time, outdoor/indoor/water play, music, cooking, games, art, movement, and more! After lunch and a rest time, children will have the opportunity   for recess and structured centers activities. Our experienced primary instructors are looking forward to providing a safe environment for your child to explore and learn new things! Please note this camp runs daily from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. If you have siblings in other St. John's camps and would like to pick up at the same time, you may select the 3:00-4:00 p.m. aftercare option below.


Camp: Primary Day Camp: Mad Scientists!

Join Greenhill kindergarten associate, Ursula Daniels, for a week of camp that is structured around a different theme and the art of play! Our mornings will be full of prereading activities, experiential learning through arts and crafts, story time, outdoor/indoor/water play, music, cooking, games, art, movement, and more! After lunch and a rest time, children will have the opportunity   for recess and structured centers activities. Our experienced primary instructors are looking forward to providing a safe environment for your child to explore and learn new things!

Description: Want to hang out and socialize with your friends, go fun places and do things that YOU want to do? Then join St. John’s Instructional Technologist, Mrs. Crouse, and 5th grade teacher, Mr. Patterson, for the greatest week ever! We will go to area waterparks, movies, and other adventures in the DFW area. Lunch is included in the price each day. The summer gets boring without your friends...grab them and come join the fun!
