Max Patterson, Fifth Grade

Max Patterson ‘12 is a Grace Cook Fellow teaching fifth grade math and coaching soccer! In this video, Max shares his fondest memories from his time at St. John’s, as well as his hopes for current students.

Lauren Sassenus, TK

Pre-K teacher, Lauren Sassenus has joined the St. John’s faculty this year after being a part of the St. John’s parent community for a few years. This year, she is most excited to grow with her class, and experience new “firsts” with them!

  • Complete the employment application and email it to Chief People Officer Sue Trumbo. Upon review of your application and supporting materials, candidates who are selected for further evaluation will be contacted by the School.
    • Additionally, to be considered for employment, applicants must consent to a background check. To maintain confidentiality and to protect your personal information, St. John’s has partnered with CIA E Consent to process background checks. Once you have been selected for further consideration, you will receive an email from CIA E Consent within 24 hours to complete the necessary information to facilitate the background check. Please follow the prompts enclosed in this message. 
  • Resume (include three references with name, address and phone)
  • Personal statement of educational philosophy (required for teaching positions)
  • Copy of college transcripts (if required for position)
