Who We Are
Last year's journalism students were Camilla, Katie, Elizabeth, Emily, and Daniel.
Camilla is a seventh grade student who loves to ride horses. Camilla’s favorite color is pink, and her favorite food is ice cream. She is on the student council as the secretary. Camilla is a very smart student who gets straight A’s. She loves to laugh and have fun!
Katie is an awesome student. She is in the seventh grade. She is an avid piano player, and has been playing for seven years. Katie’s favorite show is What Not To Wear. Katie’s favorite season is winter.
Elizabeth is a seventh grade student who loves to play volleyball. Her favorites include the color pink, Chinese food, pre-algebra, Hello Kitty, kittens in general, the season winter, Chef Boyardee foods, and cheesy crafts. Elizabeth also likes to write.
Emily is a seventh grade student. She is very smart and gets good grades (most of the time). Her favorite sport is basketball, and her favorite colors are black and red. She also loves dogs, Italian food, drawing, and hanging out with her friends.
Matthew is a very tall eighth grader. He enjoys doing many activities with his friends like playing football or shooting hoops. Actually his favorite sport is football. He immensely enjoys watching college football, and his favorite team is the Texas Longhorns. For a year he has been playing on a club basketball team and enjoys it as well.
Gentry is an eighth grade student who loves to play sports and hang out with his friends. He loves to play instruments and he is quite excellent and he excels in playing instruments He loves to go out and have a good time, but more importantly, he always wants to be constructive and be as educated as possible. Altogether, he is a great kid who loves to smile but who can also be extremely serious. And he's really cute when he's angry!
Allison is a seventh grader at St. John’s Episcopal School. She likes sports like volleyball, basketball, and track. She likes Italian food. She has an older brother and two parents. She likes to watch T.V., ripstick with friends, play volleyball, and play with her dog.

Hugh is cool. Hugh likes his friends, being stuffed into cabinets, making faces at people while he is driving by in the car, Thai food, and the color yellow. Hugh has been at St. John’s for 10 years. Hugh has a dog. Hugh likes basketball. Hugh takes guitar from Mr. Delabano. Hugh thinks Mr. D. is off the hizzle! Hugh thinks that the Dallas Mavericks are the best team ever and that the San Antonio Spurs stink. Also Hugh thinks the Detroit Lions should be put out of the NFL because they just can’t win, they’d even be better in NHL. Whoever reads this is amazing in Hugh’s eyes.
Isaac likes to get to the point, and he is in swimming and basketball. He wants to go to Jesuit College Prep School. He really like shiny things and spends his time practicing basketball. He has three pets, a dog, cat, and a FAT cat. (Yes, there’s a difference) He is a big fan of The Office and 30 Rock.
George is a seventh grade student. George likes to read. He is taking journalism because he lost his change elective form. He thinks that LSU is the greatest college football team ever. Go Tigers. He loves the city of Baton Rouge. Go Tigers.
Lucie is a seventh grader at St. John’s. She enjoys ice skating and ballet. She has been at St. John’s for nine years. Her favorite colors include the whole rainbow. In her free time she ice skates competivitly. Her favorite sports team is the FLORIDA GATORS! GO GATORS!!!!!! She also loves going to Florida. Her favorite ice cream is triple chocolate chip. YUM!!!!
Luke is an eighth grader who currently attends St. John’s. In his free time, Luke likes to relax, play sports, and hang out with friends. He plays on a select soccer team. He also plays basketball. During the summers and school breaks, he does homework and relaxes with friends. Luke’s favorite food is pork and beans stir fry. He enjoys going to the beach and playing beach soccer. Over all, he is a great kid.
Henry is a seventh grader at St. John’s School. He likes to not get demerits and to get good grades. He likes to be with friends, watch Family Guy, and listen to music.
Sophie is seventh grader that goes to St. John’s School. She likes to hang out with friends, listen to music, and go on the computer. She also has two sisters. She is also a fan of OU.
Claire is very awesome. She plays volleyball and basketball. She likes Chinese food, scary movies, hanging out with friends, staying up late, sleeping in, winning, animals, and vacations. She doesn't like homework, technology, or bugs.
Anna is a spaz with her friend Kelsey. She loves animals, such as-dogs,cats, and horses. She strongly dislikes homework. She loves Michael Jackson a lot. Her favorite songs are "Man in the Mirror", "Smooth Criminal", and "Earth Song".
Kelsey is such a spazz with her friend Anna! She is very, loud, outgoing, energetic, and can be creepy sometimes. She loves animals such as koalas and unicorns. She adores green, black, white, and Michael Jackson. Her favorite places to be are the mall, the pool, and her room! She is a sweet and caring girl who has some true confessions of a shopaholic.
