On Wednesday, February 22, the traditional imposition of ashes will be offered during the school chapel service. This ancient biblical practice is a symbol of Lent, a six-week period emphasizing prayer, study, self-denial and spiritual renewal.

Please use the form below to indicate whether your kindergarten through eighth grade child may or may not receive the imposition of ashes. If you have one child at St. John's in kindergarten through eighth grade, complete the info in the "Child 1" block. If you have two children in those grades, complete the info in the "Child 1" and "Child 2" blocks, etc.

The preference you indicate below will be retained for the remainder of your child's time at St. John's. To request a change in subsequent years, please notify your child’s teacher in writing.
