Red Ribbon Week

This week, Student Council is celebrating Red Ribbon Week, which is a national drug and alcohol awareness campaign. Thursday, October 30, Middle School students may wear all-red clothing or red accessories with their uniforms. (No hats, distracting headwear or face paint, please!) Nail polish is allowed.

Halloween Activities and Schedule

Friday, October 31, Lower School students will celebrate Halloween with a parade, sing-along and classroom parties. Get the details, including costume guidelines, food reminders and dismissal times. (Pre-k will follow normal dismissal times; kindergarten through fourth grade will dismiss at 3:00 p.m.)

Fifth graders will participate in the Halloween parade and classroom parties. Fifth grade parties begin at 1:45 p.m., and fifth graders will be dismissed with the rest of Middle School at 3:40 p.m.

Middle School students who paid Student Council $3 by Thursday may wear Halloween costumes to school Friday. Students should wear a costume (not just free dress) that includes shoes. The following are not allowed: scary or disruptive costumes, masks, weapons, bare midriffs. Students may not have props or headwear in chapel.

Admission Open House

Join us for our final admission Open House of the fall Wednesday, November 19. Program begins at 9:30 a.m. Please R.S.V.P. to attend.

Student Support Team Discussion

Join Student Support Team (SST) members Laura Allen (learning specialist), Staci Bloom (counselor) and Father John Thorpe (chaplain) Tuesday, November 4, at 6:30 p.m. in the Media Center for OMG I'm So Anxious: What We Can Do to Help Our Children with Anxiety. Attend to better understand the differences between stress, anxiety and test-taking anxiety. Through presentation and discussion, our SST members will help you identify anxiety symptoms and recommend ways to support children so they can combat stress and anxiety.
