What's Happening at St. John's

Carnival Spirit Day

We'll get ready for Carnival with a fun Spirit Day Friday, October 24. Students may wear this year's official Carnival T-shirt (or any St. John's or blue or gold shirt) with jeans, athletic pants or shorts, and tennis shoes. Students who choose not to participate must wear a regular school uniform Friday.

Carnival This Week

Set your DVR for Saturday, October 25, 2:00 – 6:00 p.m., for the ultimate reality show… St. John’s Carnival 2014: Keepin’ it Real. Enjoy a day of games, attractions (new and old), delicious food, friendly competition, and family fun. And don’t miss the newly-announced "The Voice" talent show, featuring many clever St. John’s students!

Student Support Team Discussion

Join Student Support Team (SST) members Laura Allen (learning specialist), Staci Bloom (counselor) and Father John Thorpe (chaplain) Tuesday, November 4, at 6:30 p.m. in the Media Center for OMG I'm So Anxious: What We Can Do to Help Our Children with Anxiety. Attend to better understand the differences between stress, anxiety and test-taking anxiety. Through presentation and discussion, our SST members will help you identify anxiety symptoms and recommend ways to support children so they can combat stress and anxiety.
