St. John's at a Glance

St. John’s School: St. John’s is an independent co-educational school. St. John’s has an outstanding reputation as an elementary and middle school that provides an excellent foundation for a positive, successful high school experience.

History: St. John’s Episcopal School was founded in 1953 as a co-educational, parish-affiliated school. St. John’s is a member of the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest and the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools and admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of our educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

School Uniforms: Students at St. John’s Episcopal School students wear official school uniforms that must be purchased through the Parker Uniform store. The St. John's Parents Association holds a Uniform Resale twice a year.

Tuition: The 2008-2009 tuition for Pre-K is $7,990. All new students are subject to a one-time enrollment fee of $1,000. Tuition for kindergarten through eighth grades is $12,280. A deposit of $1,000 is due with each student's signed enrollment contract. The balance of the tuition and fees is due on a monthly, semi-annual, or annual payment basis.

Financial Aid: St. John’s Episcopal School offers financial aid to students on the basis of demonstrated family need. Financial Aid is also based on the school's availability of funds.

Faculty/Student Ratio: 1:14; Pre-K average class size is 14 students per class with two classes scheduled in the morning and one class scheduled in the afternoon; Kindergarten averages 18 students per class, and the average class size is 18 students in first through eighth grades.

Student Enrollment: 500 students for the 2007-2008 school year.
